I just prchased an Ampeg SVT-410HLF and hooked it up to my SVT-350H amp. The horn on the cabinet makes a loud buzzing noise unless I turn it up all of the way. This isn't normal is it? Should I take it back and get a different one? Everything else seems to be working fine and sounds great.

it's probably the shielding on your bass, what kind of bass are you using? ....or it could be that you have your treble up to high so try eq'ing differently.

I have a 76 Fender P-Bass that is in almost mint condition. All of the internal hardware has been professionally cleaned and looked over no less than six months ago. My old cab never had this issue. I have contacted Ampeg and they told me that this is unexpected behavior and I should take it back to have it looked at. Thanks for the help.
