I got a killer deal on a SVT 350h..I dont really care if it looks like an svt or not.My question is can you take these units out and rack mount them.I dont see the point in carrying something that 70lbs around just for looks..Thanx..

  2. The amp chassis on an SVT 350H is quite a bit wider than the standard rack width. You would have to build a new chassis for it.
    Or....
Find a gutted B2R chassis and transfer the gutts of the amp over to it.
If you want it rack mount then I would just find someone with a B2R that wants to trade. I'm sure someone would be up for that kinda deal

Hey, it makes a swell gigbox!

My cat used to hide inside mine until she got bored with it.

Keep the box. You'll find a use for the storage and it looks more stylin' than a geeky rack unit. :D

The 350 is closer to 50lbs I think

The SVT-350H chassis is not closed because the top is normally closed by the cabinet. And, it is too wide for a rack.

Not recommended to try to rack it.
