    Hi all,

I own an Ampeg SVT4-pro and I´m looking for an amp with a good conbination of weight and power, but the most important thing for me is the sound. I´m happy with the sound of my svt4 but it´s too heavy to carry (and it´s not really so powerfull for a 1200 watts head). So as I never tried an Aggie AG500 and I read in other thread is a good head,
Can have some help from you to decide if is a good idea to replace my SVT4pro for an Aggie AG500 ???

    Thanks guys!!

Both sound great in their own way but both are truly rock amps. They are pretty close in many respects but the 5 Pro has more "stuff" (compressor, Octaver, Notch Filter, etc).
