  1. fender american deluxe jazz FMT for $1200!

that's a pretty good price on a new american deluxe jazz FMT. i've played on before and found it pretty enjoyable. i know there are a couple FMT lovers around here. if you're into the fender jazz (and who isn't, really?) it's worth checking this out.

  2. Nice bass, and the American Deluxe is great. Nice deal!

I hate jazz basses, but that's just me.

They never should have gotten rid of the chrome lettering on the headstock. My 98 has that, and it looks so much better. Albeit, it's not an fmt. But I really like the look of the neck. I love blocks on a bass. Especially a jazz. And the binding just completes the look.

are the maple boards possibly being discontinued? fender's website has the pics and stats for roseowood board basses but nothing for maple. that is a good price though... :meh:

I played one the other day. One of the nicest fenders ive played. Super low action, the strings were almost touching the frets, even at the higher frets.
