Sweet MIA Jazz w/ upgrades FT for a 5 String

Discussion in '[OLD FORUM] Bass Guitars, Amps, and Accessories: F' started by RSmith, May 18, 2004.

  1. Hey all,
I started building my "dream Jazz bass" and while this was getting a custom finish I picked up a 1978 Jazz. So the 78 stays and this baby is available. It's a MIA 2001 with a maple fretboard, graphite reinforced neck. Custom vintage amber sunburst (notice it's more of an amber then bright yellow. I saw a Sadowsky with this color combo, so thats what it's patterened after). Pick-ups are brand new Seymour Duncans. The neck is the Vintage stack and the bridge is the hot stack. Bass is quiet. Control knobs are set up Volume, Sweep (pick-up blend), Tone, and the pots are 500 k producing a little higher output and a crisper top end. Bass plays, sounds, and feels great. I'd keep her in a heartbeat but the 78's my baby.

I'm interested in trading for a wide spaced 5 string. Lakland Skyline would be my 1st choice or a Roscoe Beck, but I'm open to offers. PM me if interested.
  3. I forgot to mention,SKB Hardshell case included
  4. Bump-e-and-ah
  5. Trade in progress. Thanks grooveslave!
