Just like.. yesterday ;) I got new strings.

    Ernie Ball® Custom Guage® roundwound.

    (G-E guage) 40, 60, 70, 90.

I don't think ther is much of a difference ( in guage) from the oringal ones that came wiht the bass, but they sure do feel a lot better! :D

They only cost me around $26 too! :D

Just thought I'd let yah know.. :)

Uh...If you paid $26 for a 4 string set of Ernie Balls then you got ripped off big time.
  3. things aren´t as cheap everywhere as they are in USA, you know...

he´s from scotland.... those strings cost me more than $30...

Lil Dude - You didn't do too badly. About the best you can do here in the US from a reliable dealer like is around $24, ($19 + $5 s&h). So, in your currency that's about 16.8 pounds is what I get.

The main thing is you got some strings that you are happy with. Some people spend much more trying to find a set that works for them.

I'm one of those guys rickbass was talking about that has blown a ton of money looking for the "right" strings. I have to say that Ernie Ball Slinkys, while not the most expensive, are very good. Bright, deep, punchy, and long-lasting.
