Excellent compressor at an excellent price. Nice piece of kit that will smooth out your tone with Level, Compression, Attack, and Release controls.

It is transparent and neutral but there is something going on that sounds really good.

This would be a great compressor for someone looking for ease of use, but more control than simple one or two knob compressors. It responds well to bass and sounds great. Having control over Attack and Release is handy for dialing in.

Just got it but I found out real quick I need an Attack Control.

While the Bassist is a fine compressor it is not one I am looking for right now. Yes, an attack control comes in real handy.
