I've read about these power supplies on TalkBass. I think it may be just what I need. What little information is online says it can handle different types of plugs with different polarities, but I can't tell what mix of connectors it comes with and where I can buy others.

Also, how well does it work with mixed polarities on the same chain? (I have had some bad hum problems with this before.)

Here is what I am powering:

Dredge-Tone Angler: mini phone + tip
EH Octave Multiplexer: mini phone + tip
Frantone Lo-Tone: mini phone + tip
True bypass box: 2.5mm barrel - tip (Boss type)
MoogerFooger LPF: 2.5mm barrel + tip (oddball)
Fulltone Chrl/Flng: 2.5mm barrel - tip (Boss type)
Akai Headrush: 2.5mm barrel - tip (Boss type)

Everything is pretty standard except the MoogerFooger. I will use the power supply that came with it if I have to.

If someone has some pictures of the connectors and wiring that would be really helpful.

Mine came with a number of different plugs for the the power supply itself, including the mini-phone and the Boss type (2.5mm).

However, the included 5-plug daisy chain only has Boss type connectors.

Can you get different connectors for the daisy chain?

Good question - I don't know ... right now I don't need any more than one Boss-style chain gives me.

I think you can get adapters at Radio Shack
    or somewhere like that.
I Love my Switchmode, but all my pedals use the "boss-type" connectors
