SWR Bass 750 question; Bridging @ 4 ohms?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by guyplaysbass, Mar 10, 2004.

  1. Is there any specific way to run a single 4 ohm cab off the SWR Bass 750 (not the X model)? There's nothing in the owners manual so I'm guessing it's a mono amp with parallel outs. Is this right? Thanks guys!

Yup. Just plug it in. Daisy chain it for multiple cabs or use the parallel outputs. Just be sure you don't go beyond the minimum load. It's a mono amp. I had one for several years and liked its clarity very much. It was killer with a Goliath Sr. Like all SWR amps, it can be "clacky," however, depending on how you have it EQ'd.
