SWR Bass 750

99% mint, sounds 100% This is said to be the better between this model, and the 750X. Most say the preamp sounds better in this one.

As explained on another thread:

The reason for selling is, my band finally died for good, and I have zero desire to start another one, being that 90% of musicians are flakes or losers (other than bass players, of course!)....so it seems anyway. Regardless, I don't want to sit and stare at my stuff in my bedroom, someone else can get good use of it, and I can enjoy the proceeds in other hobbies. I'm keeping my 4 banger, guitar, and have some fun recording software....it's all I need.

That pretty much sums it up, but I still feel like I am dumping a good woman or something.

As for the sound with an Ampeg 8x10, I have used it with one once, and didn't care for the sound....but tone is so subjective, I can't really say it was bad or good, just not my cup of tea. I am used to my senior, with the big foster horn....maybe a horn with an 8x10 would have made all the difference for me, who knows.
