SWR Cab Question

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by rexspangle, Jul 15, 2001.

  1. I am just wondering why does the SWR web site recommend a gol III and a golitah jr. (=6x10 total 4 ohms)

But not a Goliath Sr. (6x10 4 ohms)

To go with the bass 350?

Is there something I am not understanding here?

portability, probably. versitality - get a 1x15 later and pair it with one of the other cabs...

It also costs more money to buy a 4x10 and a 2x10 than it is to buy a 6x10, so of course they are gonna recommend the more expensive setup. People working for SWR have bills to pay too. :)

I'm pretty sure those recommendations are intended as "either/or," not necessarily both.
  5. actually those cabs go great together, maybe I misunderstood you though?
