SWR Or Markbass?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Ka_Ve_86, May 13, 2006.

  1. I have been lately looking for a new amp, and the 2 that i am intrested in are a SWR Workingpro 700 And A Little Mark II

    I am playing a Fender P with a david eden 4x10xlt cab

I am looking for an amp that is going to give a nice full sound with lots of punch and a warn tone something that will be heard through the mix

Anyone played any of these amps
    Suggestion......... SWR OR MARKBASS

Then I would definitely suggest the LM11. You will not regret it.

LMII...reviewed in this months Bass Player. I have one and agree with their review.

  4. Not even close. Now, if you were talking about a pre-fender SM series SWR that might be a different story. But the Mark II vs. a working pro? Get the Mark II

    Definitly Markbass !
SWR sound to scooped and too thin for my taste. But as always, if you can, try both and let your ears be the judge.
Anyway MB sound realy more natural to me.
