okay, i am wondering if anyone out there with an sm-400 uses it bridged at 4 ohms. any issues with this at all? i checked the online manual at http://www.swrsound.com/products/ownersmanuals/sm400om.html and it says that it can be done...

but i seem to remember hearing that this wasn't actually possible...

I ran mine bridged into an Eden D210XLT 4ohm cab for about 2 years. I just used it for 2 to 3 hours a week (band practice) but I had absolutely no problems with it.

    :)

I run an SM-400 or SM-400S into a pair of Eden 8 ohm cabs...sounds great, plenty of volume, runs hot but doesn't shut down from overheating.

Also run these amps bridged into an 8 ohm Goliath II...same story.
