  1. Hello out there!

    Anyone who have experience with the Workingman,s 12??
    In the combo world-how will you rank it?

    I like it the best of the old workingman line. however, I did own a wm10 with an extention. I think the wm12 has a smoother sound than the 10 or the 15. I like the fact you can plug ANOTHER speaker into the wm12 and make it a 212 or 1215 or whatever. with a rock band you'd be better off with two speakers FOR SURE!

    If you want a combo amp that could handle more situations easily by itself I'd recommend a yorkville xm200 (15" 200w) with the option of adding another cab. about $520 new

    I've owned 3 (yes 3 of these). It is a great sounding combo. Great for practices and small gigs. Even the newer version with a few more watts is underpowered. I would have to agree, that you need more power to play a gig. Loved the amp though....
