Well, I've tested this unit out in the apartment this morning and, at least at very low volumes, this thing sounds great. The tone is excellent. I'll be curious to see how it performs at the small club gig I'm playing tomorrow night. Luckily, the combo I'm performing with is drum-less, so this might be able to deliver the good quite nicely.

Any TBers out there own or have tried these?

I haven't, but my Hartke Kickback 10 would work fine with no or very light drums for an acoustic gig. So, as long as it doesn't fart out at your gig volume, it should be fine. I was checking out the WorkingPro 12 a while back and it had some very nice features.
