SWR WorkingPro vs. Goliath III

    Have anyone here compare the new cheaper SWR WorkingPro 4x10 with the Goliath III

    workingpro is 400w at eight ohms, less quality in sound, goliath is better sound, 700w, and four or eight ohm models.Also different speakers. i'd assume the goliath's are better.
     
  3. I used a Goliath III for many years. Great cab if you like the SWR sound. I play in a Casino chain regularly that uses the Workingman's 410 as their backline on their small stage. IMO, it is not a good thing... nasally with a very harsh hi end. I'd save your penny's for the real thing if you can. Otherwise, I'd try some other cabs in that price range.
     
  4. Sorry.,.. re my previous post... I was talking about the Workingman 410... I just realized you were talking about the new WorkingPro.... I played one very breifly at LDS the other day and it sounded OK... but I didn't put in enough time (or volume) to really evaluate it. So... ignore my previous post please.
