How easy are these to remove? I plan on making my own with some crazy nickname on it, but I'm not going to bother if its a huge huge project. Can you peel them off somehow? Thanks

    This is pretty simple.

You'll need some paint/laquer remover, an old rag or towel, some .000 steel wool, a small can of laquer with a foam brush, and a bit of patience.

Remove the tuning keys (small screwdriver). Spray or brush the headstock with the laquer remover, let sit for several minutes.

Wipe off the finish, and use the steel wool to remove any excess finish and decal.

You may want to apply a new coat of laquer to the headstock, apply your new logo, then apply a second coat of the laquer.

Good luck, let us know how it turns out!
