I'm selling this homebuilt from parts P-bass.

It is playable as it stands, however, it's got some pretty serious problems. Including:

    * Fret ends stick out - needs fretwork.
    * I wired the volume and tone knobs backwards - slightly annoying but not too bad. - New knobs, pots, and jack.
    * Nut is terribly cut - uneven string spacing at nut.
    * Low quality mysterywood body with extra holes from old bridge - nice neck but needs fretwork and headstock is cracked (not a problem - small crack not in critical place).

However, the bass has the following going for it:
    * New Mighty Mite black elephant ears. (cost me $40 + shp)
    * Very high quality Schaller bridge - alone this is worth $50
    * Fender Lace Sensor pickup - sounds *FANTASTIC* - very nice!!!!! Probably worth about $75 new if somebody still makes them. - Sounds really fantastic - comparable to EMG but passive.

Asking $65 + shipping. I'm in Northern VA, so if you're in the DC area - save yourself the shipping!!!!!! If you're looking to upgrade an SX or other low cost P-Bass with better quality hardware, or looking to build a parts-based P-Bass, this is an excellent opportunity to pick up some nice parts!!

Sorry, this parts bass is long gone. I thought I had posted that here, but apparently not. Sorry for the confusion.
