SX SJB pickguard question

    No. The neck slot is a little wider on the SX, and the mounting screws don't exactly line up.

    If you're handy with a flat file, and don't mind drilling a couple new holes in the bass (in the places where the screws don't align), it can be made to work without too much difficulty.

    i just put a pearloid one on mine last week. it easy i used a dremel tool . take your pickgaurd off the sx and the fender one and a sharpie and map it out use the pickup slot for alignment. it not much material you need to remove.

    hmmm... does rondo make replacement pickguards?

    well i heard you can get one but the dont fit well. your better off with a fender one they are easy to obtain.
