  2. I go for big, zippery, rippely synth tones. I used to fall back on my EBS octaver, Mutron III+ and Korg G5 but lately have been lovin' the ol' analog fuzziness of just using a fuzz box cranked, but played v e r y lightly. This will give you a wicked square wave synth tone w/ decent subharmonic rumble. My Crowther audio Prunes +Custard is best for this. I've just ordered a Chunk systems bass fuzz which, judging from the samples, should be very trick. http://www.chunk.com.au/fz002.htm
