T-Bird Owners-Ever use Flatwounds?

    I've always used Dean Markley Blue Steels on my T-Bird, and was curious what other strings other T-birders used-
    I think flatwounds would be fun, as I can get one heckuva good
    upright tone with this bass w/ roundwounds-
    Anyone try flats on a 'Bird?
  2. I try to brighten T-Bird up any way I can, short of stainless steel strings. I use smaller gauge strings than I use on the rest of my basses, flats of half-rounds wouldn't really do it for me... I think...
