im in the UK and i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get some pickup covers for thunderbirds. Ive seen old vintage t birds have them and they look really cool. but i cant seem to find any on ebay.

im not looking for vintage ones im just looking for normal ones.

    thanks,

They pop up on eBay a lot, though they go for silly money these days.

You could ask the local vocational school if someone studying metalworking would like to make you some covers - usually the schools are happy to do even small "real" projects for a decent cost.

Sorry, I should have considered your UK location. I would classify prices over $100 for a pickup cover (sometimes well over) as excessive, and that's coming from a Thunderbird fanatic. Thunderbirds made from 1987 on didn't come with pickup or bridge covers, so the newest you would find are ones from a 70's model.

    $100 for a piece of metal....wow.

I think I will make one myself or get someone at my school to help me make one. that will be FAR easier and cheaper
