    Hi,
Has anyone tried either of these compressors?

I'd appreciate any thoughts and opinions on them - do they keep the low end and are they noisy?

    Thanks
    John

  2. I've got a Mr Squishy. Keeps the low end and is not noisy. Controls allow for a good range of settings.

    Thanks for the reply.
I also play guitar so I'm trying to find something that will do for both purposes - I've read good reports on the squishy for guitar.
I do quite fancy the T-rex pedal but I'm not sure it'll be as good as the squiishy (or a multicomp or punchfactory) with bass.

Life would be so much easier if there was a local shop with some of these I could actually try...

Update - I've just bought a toadworks Mr Squishy.

Initial impressions are very very good.
No noise, no loss on bottom end, very transparent until you crank up the compression. Excellent pedal.
Thanks to all who chipped in with opinions.
