Hey people, what does it mean in tb when it is written like this? E ------2>------ Thanks in advance.
I don't think I have ever seen that before . It could be a slide, I guess. Have you tried listening to the song while you looked at the tab? If you get to that part in the song and there's a slide, then you know it must mean "slide." Is there any way that you could post what's tabbed after it as well? EDIT: Damn typos!
i dont think its a slide. It's a Blink 182 song. *Hides* here is the verse and chorus for it. verse g--------------------------------- d--------------------------------- a--2>---4>------------------------ e-----------4>---0>--------------- chorus g--------------------------------- d--------------------------------- a--22-77-22----------------------- e-----------22-0>-2>--------------
If it isn't a slide, then it may be that the tabber just didn't want to type all the notes, so (s)he used those arrows to tell the tabee that (s)he should play the indicated note as many times as heard in the song.
isnt that please take me home? well that > means play as many time as needed. as it's blink it's played 8 times each so a better version of that would be verse g-------------------------------------------- d--------------------------------------------- a--2222222---4444444------------------------ e----------------------44444444---00000000---
Just a dumbo asking a question, but I know where the twenty- second fret on the a-string is, but where is the seventy-seventh fret on the a-string? Or did the tabbist mean play the second fret twice, then the seventh fret twice? How I HATE internet tabs. They are so unclear and hard to interpret.
Ummmmmmmmmmmm............ Mom!!!! Joke said the "T" word!!!!!! Tab sucks dude.Take it from me.Learn notation/get a teacher a.s.a.p.!! I know.....I am poor,so I have no choice but to avail myself of the tabs..... But if it comes down to playing tab or playing nothing at all....pidgeon bass is better than no bass.
