OK, just to prove how helpful I can be, I will take this seriously and provide a list :

Don't say:

Bass is easier than guitar
Bass player are "failed" guitar players
Bass just follows the guitar line an octave down
You don't need bass, the keyboard player can do it
The Seinfeld theme is a good bass line
Tabs make things easier
I don't need a teacher
I don't need to learn music theory
Nobody wants to hear a bass solo
You only need 4 strings
(Insert any brand name) Sucks
