    i have heard some good things about the tacoma thunderchief acoustic bass and i was wondering if anu of you could tell me about how much they go for. thanks.

    I played one yesterday. Very very nice in my opinion. Quite a lot larger than I expected.

    It was $4000 in NZ dollars so that is probably just under $2000 in US dollars. That price is a rough estimate, so dont hate me if I am a little inaccurate

    The US street price for a CB10 is somewhere $800-1100, depending on the electronics package. Note that Tacoma now offers an upgraded CB20 model, with binding and rosewood back and sides. Don't know how much those extras will cost you.

    My CB10 with Fishman Prefix Plus (not sure if they still offer this preamp) was $900 with gig bag. Hard case (really nice one) was $120 a few months later. I got mine when they first came out. AWESOME bass. And HUGE.
