Anyone see Blues Traveler on Conan? No offense to the old guy, but the new guy plays like a mofo!

Tad is a killer bass player. Their latest album is probably my favorite. No offense to Bobby Sheehan (RIP) who had a very distinct style which I also enjoy, but I think Tad's playing has brought the band to a new level.

I've seen Blues Traveler with both Bobby & Tad, boht players where great........but I think Tad has brought them to another level.....he uses a lot effects and slaps quite abit....it's just a different vibe! They have a new live album out, and you can hear the difference in styles on it.

    Tad Kinchla, huh?
    Thanks!
    That performance was SMOKIN'!
I was familiar with what a virtuoso John Popper
is, but I had no idea that band was so incredibly tight...
The song was great, Popper, well, yeah!
The drummer was totally in the pocket and the basswork DROVE the whole thing...as it should!
What else has this fine slapper/player done?
