Anyone knows if that's a Metro or a NYC she playing? Just heard some of her CD and damn it's cool.. She plays great and is some really nice solos she is doing! -Christian
I think that she plays a Metro MV4, I've only seen photos of her with that natural MV4. Where did you hear her songs? is the album already available?
i thought it was a nyc bass in the style of an MV4. might be able to find a headstock shot somewhere which will either have 'NYC' on it or not...
+1. Pretty sure it's NYC, she has a hipshot A style bridge on there I think. She most likely plays both. Great tone either way!
HI I was at the shop a few months ago and she was there. Im almost positive its an NYC with the old bridge, 19mm string spacing. I checked out a 5er she has in the works, too. Rob
as far as i know, it's an NYC. tal's a very nice person, and a kickass bassist! http://[malware url removed].net/vicious-smiley-1815.gif
Wow... what a wonderful player. I had only heard her on that clinic clip, and that sounded a little rough to me. I just listened to the 'BC' cut on her myspace page... holy moly... tone, time, groove, phrasing, taste, interesting ideas, and a beautiful young woman to boot. Amazing! Edit: Regarding Metro or NYC.. they sound identical, so kind of a moot point. Also.. I believe the natural ash NYC's are not routed, making the NYC and Metro version even closer for this particulat model and finish.
+1. After playing the Metros my desire to own an NYC evaporated. They really are that good. It's not that the NYCs don't offer something different, but the Metros are great.
Can folks in the U.S. purchase her CD? I looked i tup on her myspace link and the currency shows up as AU. I agree with KJung that track on myspace is killer!
