It's a bit quiet there at the moment, isn't it? I think it needs a bit more 'soil' before anything will grow.

  4. Just a suggestion on the survey:

Whether they play professionally or not, I don't think any one who seriously plays an instrument considers it a "hobby."

Alright, give me a break. I'm in a vulnerable place today. *sniff*

Well the 'soil' needs to come from somewhere. I don't think it's going to bring in users if I have a few conversations with myself. Your right though, I suppose if I went to a forum that had no posts in it I would leave.
As to the poll question, can you suggest some better options. I've made it so there need to be three so it needs to be more than yes and no.

    Webster says:

Hobby - Any of several small falcons of the genus Falco, formerly used for catching small birds or game.

Ok. I think think you are on to something. Oh, hold on:

Hobby - An activity or interest pursued outside one's regular occupation and engaged in primarily for pleasure.

I am fine with anyone defining my bass playing as that.
