Does anyone know of a site similiar to talkbass but geared towards drummers?

    Eh?
Their keyboards don't last long enough for this to happen.

There are a handful of decent ones out there, but none that I know of which are TB caliber.

I can without doubt say that Talkbass's equivalent for drums is http://www.pearldrummersforum.com/

There is some slight bias for Pearl drums there, but TBH, it's really not as bad as you'd think.

What would be the point? Drummers can't read.

Quite simply, there is no TB for drummers. Mainly because most drummers don't run around with such an inflated sense of self-worth, an important part of the bass community.

Still, the best drumming forum is probably the Pearl one, as "hey" recommended. That being said, the OT section is essentially made up of teenage versions of Maki. Only hornier.

If you can find a pizza delivery forum there are probably alot of drummers hanging around there. :D

I'd say the drummers hang around 4chan. its at their level.

Man I hang on some drum forums but for the most part it's beginners asking repeatedly about which reso heads to buy.

That's why I come to TB more than drum forums. Bassists are generally kinder to each other I've noticed.

I leave bass strings on my dashboard so I can park in the handicapped spots. :)

Pearl Drummer's Forum is a decent forum. I wander over there once in a while.

Poster #1 - "If I hit this drum really hard, it makes a cool noise that I like!"

Poster #2 - "I think that's what the dudes in my band keep calling tone or something."

    Poster #1 - "No, it's a chord."

Poster #2 - "Oh yeah, that's it! Drum chords rock!"

I did too a couple days ago...the admin didn't approve my account and deleted it. :spit:

I'm trying again under a better name, but I'm not trying again if it gets deleted.
