I have two dogs a Newfoundland, and a mixed breed I also have two snakes a Hog Island Boa and a California King snake.
My house has 5 cats, 3 clawed toads (small white frog like creatures aka 'the naked frogs'), 50-60 tarantula's, 1 chameleon (charlie), 1 praying mantis, and a few birds in a cherry tree. This is the only pic I have since my hardrive was owned by a virus (got off a website it was posted on). It's of our first tarantula in the mating process, shes called Hariot (on the right) and weve had her around 11 years:
Oops. You thought of it way sooner than I did. But that thread was started, what? 8 months ago? I'm sure the guys have added a few iguanas or parrots in their collection.
[comical French accent] I scoff at your syllogism! [/accent] I have noticed that kitties seem to be the preferred pets of many TBers. Hmmm... you're probably right. I live happily with two cats, but I think of myself as a dog person. Don't have the time a dog requires, though. So the kitties are just a doggy substitute for me, though my wife and scores of TBers will surely disagree with that notion...
Nice looking tank, mate! Is that a marine setup? I don't recognise any of the inhabitants. I have a 75l tank running at the moment. I will post a pic when I get a chance
No it's not marine, it's fresh water. The fish are Cichlids mostly from Africa but with some American's thrown in. You're not supposed to do that but I've nad no trouble. They all got so big I had to move them into a 200l tank. The new tank has a trickle filter so it's capable of marine.......one day.

Cool. I had a Dwarf Cichlid a few years back and he was down right bad tempered. He chewed the tail off one of my Guppies
I would love to get a bigger tank but it will probably have to wait until we're in a bigger place. The timer on their light has clicked off for the night so pics will have to wait until tomorrow. In summary though:

Hoplo catfish
Bronze catfish
Tiger barbs
Giant danios
Hockey-stick tetras

A marine tank would be fantastic. I would love to keep some seahorses
Only put Cichlids with other agressive fish. Believe it or not Dwarf cichlids are meaner whan the bigger ones. Actually I can see your tiger barbs hassling your danios and tetras. The Danios are probably fast enough to get our of their way but it must be very stressful for them. The tetras are in trouble if your barbs ever get hungry. Feed em........
A lot of people have said similar things but my Tigers have only ever hassled each other. They are completely disinterested in the Danios and even less curious about the Tetras. They are constantly nipping at each other though.

P.S I forgot to mention the Bristlenose catfish that's in there for cleaning duties
