Talkbass - The Page you Requested Does Not exist !!!

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by Michael Jewels, Apr 3, 2006.

  1. Has anyone else gotten this message when logging on this morning?

I never saw this message before.

Almost scared the tar out of me.

I thought there was no Talkbass for a moment! :bawl:

I got that yesterday afternoon when I clicked on "New Posts".

I went back to the home page, clicked "New Posts" again and had no other trouble.
  3. I had the URL saved as a bookmark and for a few days got this message when i tried to use the bookmark. It doesn't do it any more though.
  4. I've been getting that message since yesterday (April 2).

Got it yesterday and again this morning, but only when trying to get to the homepage in the first place.
  8. Still doing it! If I click on "Home" from the top nav. header (within the forums), it's ok... but if I open IE cold and click on my TB favorites (which takes me to www.talkbass.com), I get the error mssg.
  9. Same here.

Well, at least I can get in.

  10. This happened to me as well. I also have to login everyday from my home computer even though I clicked "remember me" . It just started on the weekend...

I use Firefox. It only did it once for me. No issues since yesterday.
  12. It did that to me last night, too. But since I could still click on forums, I went ahead. No problems.

    Rock on

I'm thinking it's because of the page is in the history file, yet some things (ads?) have changed and it cannot load them, so it gives the "page not found".

I've been having it for a couple of monts, usually when I'm away from my computer a day or two.
  16. VERY GOOD !!!

It's not doing it anymore !!! :hyper:

    Mike :)
