How many picking fingers you use when you are tapping ? :)

Do you mean right hand fingers (with a right-handed person) ? It depends on the bass. With a vintage Jazz, I hardly ever tap but if I do, I usually use index, middle finger and thumb because of the heavy gauge strings and higher action. With a seven string, I use all five because it's easier with lighter strings and there is more strings to tap at the same time.

Usually index, middle and ring...pinky could work too I guess...it depends i´f my right hand is in a vertical or horizontal position (depending on style of tapping basically).

Use as many fingers as you need for the song. Some songs, you only need to tap out a simple melody with your picking hand while the left hand taps out the bassline. Other songs, you are comping chords with all four or occasionally five fingers.
