Taylor's new acoustic guitar pickup system

    Hey! Have any of you tried the new "Expression System" from Taylor guitars? Here's their website link about it:

    It's supposedly this revolutionary new way of amplifying the guitar that maintains the natural sound and doesn't distort (like piezo systems) no matter how hard you strike the strings. Sounds interesting. So have any of you played one of their guitars that's equipped with this?

    it's just a hidden smaller output magnetic pickup in the neck, some contact microphones whose diaphragms are mounted to the wood, so they are only sensitive to the top's vibration. It's not so revolutionary. We're not going to move to that in all guitars like the piezo's. They are much cheaper and easier to make and handle, so it's not going to become some new industry standard or somehting like that
