after reading everyone's response on Elricks, i bit the bullet, and bought the Singlecut i've been eyeing at G Guitars in CT.

i've been gloating all day, but i thought i'd share the love. its an Elrick Singlecut in Ash w/ Macassar Ebony board. super light @ 7.6 lbs, and plays like butter. i cant put it down!

there took down the pics on their site, but the setneck is very similar to Fodera's but at 1/3 of the cost. sweetness.

man...it's really tempting to give rob a call about making me a fretless 5'er this summer.

i'm sure getting the exact fretless bass i want would be alot easier with elrick than it would with warwick, and would cost less.

grrrr...the GAS.....lets see the back man!

i found it! here you go:

    sweet, eh?

  6. Joker, that is awesome!!! Congrats. Sweet purchase. I have yet to actually see an Elrick in the flesh, much less play one, but just looking at them online has given me G.A.S. for the past several years.
My parents still live in the house I grew up in, a mere 30 minutes from Gguitars, and I am definitely going there next time I visit the folks.
  7. Sickly, congrats man, we now all officially hate you more ;)

I guess I'll have to be in the minority here.

Nice bass, but it looks like they forgot to finish cutting it out.;) Love the wood though.
