This is hopefully pretty straight forward. Which TBer's bass(es) would you most like to borrow for a week?

    Disclaimer #1
I can't remember what everyone has, so puh-leeeze do not be offended if I didn't include you in the poll list

If you need a point of reference, browse here

    Bass Porn

    Disclaimer #2
The poll list is focusing on stuff you don't see everyday. The kind of basses you can't just walk into GC and pull off the wall. I do have a strong bias for furniture basses, so bear with me. :D

By the way, this is multiple choice, so vote for several if you'd like.

Please state your reason for wanting to borrow that particular bass.

    Have at it......

I voted for three (coulda been 15, easy).

I'd love to borrow Jeff Rader's Sadowsky, 'cause I've never played a Sadowsky. With that wild spalting on the top, I won't feel like I'm cheatin' on my own basses.

I'd like to borrow Whappo Grande's Ritter, just to see how they play.

I'd like to borrow one of Jared's Fodera's just 'cause they're so durn purty. And to see how they compare to the one I have played.

I voted for mine, of course, but wouldn't turn down a week with any of 'em.;)

I'd love to try out some of JT's monsters, mostly the fretted 8.

wouldn't mind trying out any of the others though!
  6. Kong's blue fretless MTD 635 !!!
  7. voted notduane's doubleneck.

and a nino sadowsky, just because i've never played a sadowsky.

Well, I definitely have a fetish ( ) for Hanewinckels (oh man, I can't believe how wrong that sounds :D;)), so I'd really like to play Geshels', but especially Dave Grossman's. (I think, it's the orange quilt top one, right?) That is one awesome ass bass... I also voted for Jared's Foderas. Every time I look at them, they become my dream basses:D

    Wrong Robot's Fodera :p

I voted for One of Jt's basses. Probably a 7 string fretless.

One of Jared's Prolly his emperor 5.

One of Geshel or David grossman's Hanewinckels, because I really want to try a Hanewinckel(again...I played a 4 string that was excellent)

Whappo grande's Ritter, I'd love to try a ritter, they look nice :D

I want JT's double neck. On this bass, I wish to play. It just drips with "too much, ain't enough".
Uh-huh, that's the one. No more having to switch to fretless.

I'd love to spend time with most listed!

I voted for mine (how could I not, it's exactly what I wanted? ;) )

Your Alembic's would kick ass! I could jump around my living room pretending to be Mr. Clarke with a little more conviction.

NotDuane's 2 headed beast would be amazing

Nino's or Jeff's Sadowskys would be nice

MTD, Ritter, Roscoe, Lightwave loaded Zon :bassist: Adrian G has a couple of nice basses hanging around, Brian Barrett's stable has a few too...... Geeze, even most cats in the DB land are holding objects of my desires

I voted for one of JT's Conklins, 1 of Nino's Sadowskys & one of Jared Foderas. Reason for these are/is: Conklins amaze me & since i'm only 17 i might end up with one in my bass playing career, Sadowskys strike me as the best Fender Style Basses, & a Fodera since i dig the looks. Thats all
  13. adrian's f-bass!
  14. once he gets it, matt (skerik1)'s custom DHuff.

without the ultimate dingwall on the list, the entire thread should be deleted and started over.
