Thanks a lot! I will try to do the analysis and I will post the results in here for the 115 combo.
I have two - both a 210 and a 115, which I sometimes run together for my stage rig dependent on need/size of venue etc. Interesting that the amplifiers are voiced differently for the different speaker combos, didn't know that. Thanks again Andy, really appreciate the info.

How do you EQ at the amp for DB? Does that change if you use a preamp?
Do you use any toneprints and/or do you have any recommendations?
I have nylon strings on, an unbuffered piezo bridge wing pickup, and I like a lot of thump, so I'm usually at bass -1.3, mid +1.5, treb -0.8 with gain of 6 or so and the master wherever during practice. Less bass and more treble at the jam session. I haven't been able to find a toneprint that doesn't suck the life out of my signal, so I haven't been using one.
The DB sounds quite a bit better without my Zoom B1on (as a pre) no matter how I set it up, so I ditched it. I miss the options for chorus and advanced EQ, but since the tone I get straight from the amp is so good, I can't miss them too much. It's not exactly my-bass-only-louder, but it sure is close, and it sure sounds good. My wife and kid couldn't tell I was (playing softly) using an amp last night.

I haven't got any experience with a DB .... but what prompted me to look at the EQ curves was when I got a preamp for my ABG and didn't like the sound with the preamp pedal connected to the input jack of the BG250. What I did at first was to take the preamp pedal and connect it to the AUX input of the BG250 - that bypasses the EQ and toneprints (and sadly the tuner too) and only the Master volume and mute button have any control. This gave me all the sounds I wanted from the preamp pedal and worked really well. So you might try your zoom connected to AUX and see how you like it.
But since that time, I found the flattest EQ setting and now it sounds almost as good when I connect my pedal to the normal input - and I get the tuner function back

Just a little Tubedrive sounded really great at a blues jam, and I can totally see a use for the spectracomp on stage. One day I'll find an excuse for that really crunchy dirt, probably in the most inappropriate place I can think of - open jam, christmas carolling, bluegrass circle, or maybe even a bar show with more people in the band than in the audience...
Hey, is anybody using this for a ubass? Amazon gift cards always seem to appear at Xmas time, and it just so happens that Rondo is selling some uke basses on Amazon, and it just so happens that I have a new jazz gig that might be ubass friendly. What do you know about that?

Getting a new amp soon and stumbled upon these on YouTube. These amps have a lot of cool features but the QC does worry me a little. But I live near a Guitar Center and could order through them and return it if there are any issues.
I was thinking about the Rumble 200 but then saw it is only 140 without an extension cab, so scratch that. Next I'm thinking about the Carvin MB-1015 stack (10 inch 250 watt combo with 15 inch extension cab) and now these. (Yes I read the comparison in this thread).
I'm looking for something lighter than my Acoustic B-200 (about 75 lbs) but with around the same power or more between $400 and $500. Currently playing with two loud guitars and drums. The Acoustic holds its own pretty well but lugging it up and down stairs for sucks.
Any recent opinions on the BG-250 series? I think the Tone Print is awesome, even if only a novelty.

Been gigging and practicing mine for about a year now, no issues so far. TonePrint works well if you just need one effect at a time, really more than just a novelty IMO. Plenty loud, if I need more I just run both of mine (a 210 and a 115 stacked together) as a unit. At 37 lbs m/l easy to haul around. I like 'em. I do however wish they had the mid control split to high mids/low mids like the Rumble but otherwise no complaints.
Had mine for a few years now and it's held up fine. Does small rooms on its own and bigger ones with PA support. Used it last Friday...

I am doing some home recording and yesterday I used the amp of my BC250-208 to color my tone through a tone print. Ran the balanced output into my recording interface. As I listened back through the headphones output of the interface, I removed the combo's speaker cable from the amp's out. Is that something the amp can handle, running with a balanced output only, without a speaker attached?

Yes. The BG250-208 is just the BH250 head and according to TC's documentation, it should not be a problem.

Interestingly, in researching the prior question, I found out that you can actually use the 208 "cab" portion of the BG250-208 as a speaker cab on it's own. The Speakon connector is wired in parallel and as long as you disconnect the connector to the head, the cab will stand on it's own. Very cool!

It's OK to disconnect the speaker - but you don't need to. In your scenario (recording from the balanced out) just turn down the master volume which doesn't affect the balanced out.
Anyone has a solution to the high frequency hiss/noise? I have a BG250-112 and that noise is annoying. It comes from the Head Section and not audible through the speaker. I read in TC Electronic (dead) forum about a guy that had the same issue and changed a Capacitor that supposedly was faulty. I wrote him but that thread was from 2014...
I owned a BG250-210 before this with no issue whatsoever though!!

Well i got in contact with TC Electronic and i just want to tell you that is the Best Customer Support i have ever encountered!
They wrote me back in less than 24h and even if they can't explain you what to do other than get the gear to a specialized autorized customer support, at the foot of the email they made me a "suggestion"
I would like to know though if this could be it and wait for guys like Line6man and other TBers with electrical wisdom to jump in if they are willing to.

I'm not so sure that it would fix the issue, but I guess changing a capacitor is a cheap and easy thing to do, if you can solder. A new capacitor might cost you a dollar, and there would only be two solder joints to deal with. If you can't do the job yourself, then perhaps you could find an electronics hobbyist and buy him a beer, or something.
