Tube Pilot Overdrive is built on the truly classic ingredient of foot stomping rock licks, the glowing 12AX7 vacuum tube immortalized by vintage full stacks.

Powered by a single preamp tube with only two simple knobs to worry about, this is a no-nonsense tone machine.

This raw circuit type maintains maximum warmth and old school amp characteristics with the dynamic pick response that only warm tubes can produce.

Tube Pilot serves you bluesy break-up or high octane overdrive, depending on how hard you hit the strings.

    • 12AX7-powered overdrive
    • Warm, organic overdrive
    • Tube Drive and Out Level controls
    • Rugged steel enclosure

Just when I thought I had conquered my GAS and could read Talkbass again. I avoided the temptation of a HUGE sale on a bass I don’t need last week then this happens.

TCE, just take my money already.

Seems like this would be a cool pairing with the Fuzzrocious LunaReclipse

Stacked after a boost could sound pretty dang good..
Daring of them not to put a window or wire cage over the tube. Isn't that a requirement? Or maybe some LED lights in there, glowing orange..

Not at all interested. Can't imagine this would be better than my magic tube box, my Khan VTDI.

Well they definitely nailed the look of the old Chandler Tube Driver and more recently the BK Butler reincarnation.... They make it abundantly clear what their influence for the pedal is. Time to get your Gilmour on.

  10. The TC website doesn't say anything about this pedal being suited for bass.
    Hmmmm .......

Ive found through exp that pedals like this are usually pretty decent to good with bass. I could be wrong. But I feel like it will be pretty good. But who knows?!

Since it doesn't have a tone knob, and therefore no tone circuit, it very well might work for bass

Is this right? I'm seeing it listed at $50? I mean... at that price I think I'm gonna pick one up just shagging 'cause.

Pbassmanca In the pocket n' thumpy. So woody, so greasy...

I was just thinking yesterday about how I need a pedal to give me some dirt on a few Tunes. This might be just the thing.

Too late! I ordered the EHX Hot Wax on Monday for the very purpose this would seem to have. Would love to hear this in action, especially with a boost or OD in front of it.

I have BK Butler Blue Tube pedal from the mid 90s. I LOVE it with my telecaster, but I've never been crazy about how it sounds with the bass.
