    Hello,

I have an RH450 head and RS212 cabinet, which I like a lot. A lot has been said about the actual power of the amp, but I would just like to know if adding a second cab, the RS210, would make much of a difference in terms of volume.

    Thanks,

  2. Adding more speakers always makes a difference. I think it is about 3db. This is regardless of the power of the amp.

100w into 4x10 will generate more volume than 100w into 2x10.

It adds a little where you will get the maximum wattage of the head but I had the same setup and couldn't tell much difference. I sold it and got the Genzler 800 and Mesa D-800 and run a r212 and R210 and it is a huge difference. One of the cabs is more wattage than the RH450 is total so to me it's overkill.
