I use a M One processor. Quite excellent fx, not "sterile" as digital fx sometimes go. Very quiet with tons of headroom. MIne is one of the earlier models; not the "XL".
The problem with the XL would be it only features balanced XLR ins and outs which could prove to problematic integrating into a bass rig.
I have also tried th G Major, which is surprisingly well voiced for bass.

    Thanks for your help.
I liked the look of the XL version as it would be useful for my home recording efforts also.

AFAIK XLR to jack leads should be OK for the Ashdown's fx loop.

The bod at TC said "as long as it's line level, it should work"

Mind you, they said that about my Triple C and I'm going straight in from my Stingray :)
  4. Hey Max,

Tell me more about the G Major. On the short list to replace an aging Alesis MV4.

Specifically will the tuner support a B and how's the chorus?
