    As the title says I've got one of these, had it longer than any other bass amp. I looove the sound of it. Now I've never played through other Trace Elliot gear. Is the fact that I love its sound due it the amp or the 12" speaker or both. Maybe you can see where I'm going with this. I would like to get this sound with just more juice. Any ideas? The new Trace stuff, Ashdown...

    I thought about that but since it acts as my monitor as well I'm not sure if it would be loud enough on its own, correct me though.

    Buy a used Trace head from the 90's. You can usually find a decent one for under 400 bucks and they are loud and have the sound you are looking for.

    I don't use Trace cabs though, I use an Avatar 212 Neo.
