    Hey, all. I'm a long time slab player and have just started getting into the world of DB. I have had considerable difficulty in finding an instructor so I decided I would get Simandl 1 and 30 Etudes and work through them as best as I can. I am realizing thought, that I really do need to get a proper instructor. Does anyone know of any one in reasonable distance from Springfield, MA that gives lessons? :confused:

    Sal is an excellent and demanding teacher. Heavy on the classical stuff. You're technique will improve by leaps and bounds.
