TEACHER NEEDED!!

Discussion in 'General Instruction [BG]' started by BassPanther, Jul 7, 2003.

  1. Does anyone know of any decent Bass teachers around Fayetteville, NC. I'm only posting this here because I did a search for teachers on Active Bass and the closest one is 2 and a half hours away and I'm wondering if anyone on this board could help me better.

Also, is there any online correspondance courses or something to that effect that I could take?

Teaching myself is only getting me so far and I need someone to give me some direction in what to study there's just so much out there. :bawl:

I don't remember anyone. I wouldn't recommend you go to McFayden Music or anything unless you know the guy.

Why don't you stop by the music center over by the COSCOM area? I think there's a BK over there, near the big classVI store. Call the MWR number if you don't know where it is. I hope it's not gone. They may have a line on some good local pros.

Then again, a trip to Raleigh should get you a quality teacher. That's not too far.

  3. I don't really go to McFayden music, I don't like the store and their bass selection is limited.

I don't know anything about a music center in the COSCOM area, I'll have to check that out.

Yeah, it seems like I'm overdue for a trip to Raleigh..Thanks

Let me guess...you're in the 505th?

My best man is XO of one of the BNs for the 504.
Last I talked to him, he was in Afghan.

We were in the 325 Together.

That music center was just up the road of some fast food joint. I think if you go over 24 on Honeycutt then North on Watson St, it's somewhere around there, all by itself. Well, at least it was back in 1995.

  5. Nope your wrong, I'm not infantry

    3-321 Field Artillery

I'll be sure to check it out.

    You might try this: http://musicstaff.com/search.asp

That's where I finally found someone, although that may be the same engine used on other sites. Worth a shot, at least.
