Hey, I've been playing bass for 6 years. Have played in bar bands, hav recorded, taught myself a good deal of theory on my own, ect. But I want to keep growing musically. (I really want to jump into the jazz realm) I've realized that I'm going to have to persue formal training now, to accomplish what I want to get done. So I was wondering if anyone in the central Pa, region could steer me towards a good teacher. I'm mainly looking at the State College area since that's where I work, and it would be easy to just go to my lesson after work. Plus I already have to drive a bit of distance to go to practice other days in the week. But if you also know someone in the Altoona, Clearfield, or Glendale areas, I would still love to hear about them.

    Thank you. :)
