I believe that Jeff Berlin has it on his solo CD. You could try and P2P it... good luck with that. I had it a while back, and I must say that it is one AMAZING piece of music.

There's a solo bass version of Tears in Heaven? What's this? I love that song! What's Jeff Berlin's CD called, and where can I get it?

Is this some kind of joke? Jeff berlin is famous for being vociferously "anti-tab"!!! ;)

CD's called "Taking Notes" (1997). It should be available through most major retailers. Jeff's rendition is truly beautiful. I admire the beauty of his concepts, both in playing, and in teaching.

    P.S.
If you're still having trouble finding it, PM me, and I'll hook you up! ;)

hmm.... i have a sneaky suspicion about the identity of wolf - as i couldn't imagine a certain person NOT visiting these boards after having quit them.

i downloaded the song, first thing i ever heard by jeff and i must admit, i was more impressed than i thought i'd be. arite, i admit it. i think it's one of, if not THE best solo renditions of a popular song i've ever heard. gonna go learn those lines now and practice them with my metronome till i can get them up to speed. :)
