Tech 21 Bass Boost Chorus

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by MattStonewall, Mar 18, 2014.

  1. This looks like a really awesome chorus. If anyone thinks it's crushed by any other bass chorus let me know. I'm interested in one.

I love it. I have used many chorus pedals and the Tech 21 is the best I have used.

The only drawbacks IMO is that the pedal is big and is fairly expensive.

I've own and have tried a lot of different choruses and I haven't been able to beat it yet.

  6. Wow! I guess that pretty much says it all if everyone loves it! I love my Sansamp Bass Driver. Yes they are expensive pedals but they are well built and sound great. I guess I know what my next orders are going to be. Tech 21 Chorus and Thumpinator!

I like it more than the MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe I'm currently using, but it's large size kept it off my board because I didn't have the real estate. If I had more space it's the one I'd be using.

Same here, otherwise I would've gladly tried one also. I'm also using the MXR BCD, which works fine for me.

Absolutely love the Tech 21 BBC! I'm doing some reconfiguring of my board, but the 2 pedals that won't be going anywhere are my FEA DB-CL and my Tech 21 BBC...

I had one and it's great. It has just about all the features you could want.
However mine was a bit dark sounding - I believe it was a defect limited to a particular production run. Tech21 gave me the instructions for fixing it but GAS got the better of me and I flipped it for a Polytope, which I prefer.
  11. I think it's going to be the next add to my board.
  12. Chorus is thick, lush and versatile...I love mine and would never take it off my board!

Exactly this! I just got mine three days ago and it's going to have a permanent home on my board.

My search for the greatest chorus pedal has officially ended!

I'm not sure whether to go "damn this thread" or "bless you guys"...
I've put my BCD for sale and a few other pedals, in order to get a BBC...

Bought one. Sweet Chorus. All I have to do now, is get rid of the fugly graphics. ;)

  17. I feel your pain. I'm off to get a Pog2.

  18. I've heard there is some trouble with the Pog2 cutting out and dropping notes...I don't know personally, never played thru one....
