Tech 21 PSA Pre-Amp (GAS!)

    So what are you guy's opinions on the PSA? My band recently laid down our first full length and the engineer suggested running it in the effects loop. I've tried the Sansamp pedal on a few occasions but never really liked the sound much. However the PSA warmed up the tone and added alot of depth and real clarity, not just frequency boosting! I was hugely impressed with this piece of gear and will definitely be adding it to my rack case!!

    I just thought you all should know that this thing rocks and if you have the chance to plug into one definitely take the chance!

    I know Dirk Lance from Incubus used to use one, and I have tried my brother's one in studio, but like you said, it is cool to run in the FX loop, but not as a main preamp, as it is mainly geared towards guitar tones and distorted ones at that, but it does have a couple of nice bass ones too, like the overdriven SVT preset...
