Tech 21 SansAmp vs Hartke Bass Attack

    Are there any similarities between these two pedals? Do they basically do the same thing or are they miles away from each other?

    The hartke bass attack pedal is similar to the tech 21 sansamp bass driver, only the hartke bass attack pedal has two stomp buttons. one to turn the pedal on(which delivers tube-emulated sounds) and the other to turn the shape control on. the shape control is basically an eq boost. it can go from a bright and throaty sound to a smooth and warm sound. combine the hartke bass attack pedal with a distortion pedal you like and you get amazing results. if you're thinking about buying the hartke bass attack pedal, I'd say give it a try. you might be amazed by this preamp pedal.
