I want to know if anyone has tried theese pedals, and if so,which did you prefer? I am in the market for a pedal compressor and have narrowed if down to theese two. I know the price is double on one of them but it is not an issue.

I use the tech21 basscompactor, lots of bang for the buck. Very high quality. The EBS is a very good pedal too, but at that point I'd just get a rackmount dbx or something along those lines.

I have the EBS pedal. It replaced an RNC rack compressor. I like the EBS a lot. It is a very smooth, easy to use compressor. The "tube" mode really adds some extra cut and growl. It makes for a very nice light overdrive sound. This is not the pedal to use if you want to use compression as an effect, (the famous pumping sound.) It is the pedal to use if you want extra punch in the attack. BTW, I put the pedal between the bass and amp before distortion and wah. It seems to work best this way. It is also nice to be able to turn off the compressor easily, like when I want a softer, rounder attack.
