Technique used in Mudvayne's "Happy?"

    I recently saw Mudvayne's video for "Happy?" and I noticed that the bassist was using some strange technique. I listened closely and it sounded really cool. He only does it in the chorus, not the verse. If anyone is familiar with what i'm talking about, please educate me. :)

    Tapped harmonics. Fret the low notes, and tap them an octave higher. As it says in the BP interview, acts kinda like an octave effect.
